Other than the initial turn away with no aid in any sort of resolution, there has been no further assistance in getting my money back.

I had accidentally sent an amount of $380 to someone I had recently made connection with for a sale initiated in offerup. I expressed this to customer service along with the correct recipient explaining it had been sent to the wrong person by accident and furthermore, I was unsuccessful in making any contact with the individual to correct this and believe they have blocked me and had no intention of underfeeding the money back.
Not only was customer service no help, they stated that due to my relationship with this person (I'm assuming the only factor is that we were connected through Facebook to make contact for the offerup sale) they would not assist in getting any of my money refunded let alone sent to the right person.
Not only am I losing out with no help, I now owe all that money still and have to figure that out now. Thanks venmo.
User's recommendation: Use other online cash services that give the option to be able to refund your money if it was sent in error.
