Someone hacked my bank account and sent my money to themselves through this app want payments stopped and my money returned!!!

The phone number for Venmo - (855) 812-**** is no longer in service. I filed a registration request to support on October 28th and was told someone would fix my issue in a few days. No contact since.

I have an issue where a Venmo account was set up in my name, using my email and an old phone number I no longer have access to. I need to speak to a human, not play games with the automated system that answers the customer service number.

I tried to put it in my bank account and it didnt go in my bank account so I really would like to get it back my niece sent me 300 and it went on a Venmo balance so how can I get it unfrozen because I need it back for bills I have tried and tried and I cant get any help so I have called and sent messages so if I cant get it I will have something done about it

My daughter deposited money to my account to pay her insurance, but I'm not able to transfer the money to my credit union. When I called, I was sent to teen debit card and then told to hang up. As I don't have a teen or a debit card, this was of no help.

Trying to send money to my brother and the payment was stopped with no other reason that it was a scam. The money I send is to family members. Im not a pissed off consumer, I just want to send the funds to my brother.reasons I referred him to sign up on Venmo.

I have been trying to send money to my sister all morning so we can pay our bills, but your app just keeps loading and loading when I get to payment methods. I have two saved.

When I tried to contact customer service directly, I either get rerouted to a stupid bot or put on hold so long that by the time someone actually responds, I'm not available. They're also probably illiterate or another stupid bot because I specifically asked to be contacted by email and left a summary of my issues, both of which were ignored.

I attached the reply they gave me after using this site.

My credit union does not accept instant transfers, so Venmo sent it to the next account on my list, which is closed. I know I should have removed it, but I didn't.

Now the money is gone.

Venmo says the transfer was successful, and Huntington said they don't have the money. Now, I am completely prepared to spend thousands of dollars on a lawyer to get my $500 back.
