Hi, anyone who can help me here please. I mistakenly sent money to wrong user on my venmo account, so i tried to report the transaction as a dispute then my account got locked after the dispute. Please i need my money and my account back.

I called Venmo on February 27, 2026, about a $500 payment from February 6, 2026, that was refunded but never posted to my account or card. The agent created referral REF_undercore_GEO_1032**** and said the case was reescalated to the correct department.
I have already provided bank statements and screenshots showing the original charge and lack of refund.
Please confirm (1) the current status, (2) the expected refund date, and (3) the exact destination (Venmo balance or card ending in the last four digits). I request written confirmation and a timeline.

I have tried forever to unfreeze my account. There is no payment due, and the AI chatbot is worthless—less than worthless.
The chatbot said I need to respond to an email sent to me; however, no email was sent. Their site has no support email. On Google, the support email doesn't work. Their phone number just takes you to the AI chat.
What a horrible, non-user-friendly system! Buyer beware.

I had sent someone money through Venmo, but the person did not accepted it. I just decided to take it back.
I got a notification that my money was sent to the card I used to send it.
Well, nothing went to my account, so I called them and said it was going to take 10 days. Ten days passed, and I still haven't got my money.

Verified ReviewerI forgot my password. I have spent over 3 hours trying to create a new password. The site won’t recognize my phone number to send a code. I spent hours with the automated chat. It’s a failure
The help chat sends me in an endless loop! It doesn't recognize my phone and can't send a reset code.
I tried to call the customer service number. It refers you to the chat helpline that I've spent hours with. There's no way to speak to a live person.
I was sent $1,000.00 and can't get the money unless I can open my Venmo account.
Obviously, I'm screwed! I can't even try to reverse the payment without opening my account! The money is in limbo!
The sender can't get it back without my approval. I can't give that approval without accessing my account!
- Helpline is a chat bot that sends you in endless loop
- No live customer service to talk with about why my account is frozen

I called to claim why my account is still suspended and also don't have any info about my claim, but the customer service phone is a joke. They never answer, making me feel like I am waiting more than 30 minutes in line and they never answer my call.

Don’t have any idea!
It wasnt substantial time to see the membership rules! It flashed by quickly and I couldnt go back and before I knew it I wasnt just paying $5 like I thought I was committing to but a full membership for a year!
Not reliable entity, makes one think what else are they being tricky on !! Makes some one try another company!

Nothing happened! I was trying to add a debit card, but your system said it was not a good number; I use the debit card all the time. So then I tried to use my credit card, and your system said I had the wrong zip code; I did not.

I called because I couldn't login into my account. The customer service person said to wait 24 hours and try again. I waited the 24 hours and tried again but I still can't login into my account !!!
