According to the Venmo help section, you should be able to change the password from the Profile section of your Settings on venmo.com. You can also change the password following these steps:
  • go to venmo.com/account/password-reset;
  • enter the email address or phone number associated with your Venmo account;
  • in your email inbox, tap or click the link that was emailed to you;
  • create a new password and log in.

You should be able to update your PIN in your account settings:
iPhone:
  • Settings - Touch ID & PIN;

Android:
  • Settings --> Security --> PIN Code & Fingerprint.

According to the Venmo FAQ page, you have the ability to add funds to your Venmo account using direct deposit if you have completed the required identity verification and if you are otherwise eligible for direct deposit. To set up a direct deposit you should follow the steps below:
  • In your Venmo app, tap three lines icon, and then click on Settings → Direct Deposit;
  • Tap Show Account Number to get your Venmo account info along with the routing number that appears on the screen;
  • Copy both numbers and use them to fill out your employer’s Direct Deposit form.

The exact arrival time of funds sent using direct deposit can vary by employer. It may take up to two pay cycles for the direct deposit feature to take effect.
Venmo will post funds added through direct deposit to your account as soon as they receive notice from your employer.

  • Settings;
  • Venmo Card.

If you forgot the password, you may reset it. Please follow these steps:
  • Go to venmo.com/password/reset;
  • Enter the email address or phone number associated with your Venmo account;
  • In your email inbox or messages, tap or click the link that was emailed or texted to you;
  • Create a new password (between 8 and 32 characters long) and log in.

The fastest way to get your account reinstated is to use a credit or debit card to pay back the amount you owe. You may also use your bank account to make a payment.
Please note that the funds may take 3 to 5 business days to post in your Venmo account. Any payments you receive on your Venmo account will automatically be applied to the amount you owe to Venmo, thereby reducing the amount you owe.
