Right now, I have waited a long time for Venmo to get my money back for me; it is close to $500—a lot of money for me to lose or anyone to lose. It seems like they just do not care if you get your money back or not.
They just deny every single dispute. You would think that with Venmo being owned by PayPal, they would do better. PayPal will fight for you; I can feel confident in them. However, Venmo is so disappointing that they couldn't care less about you not being able to get your money back when you deserve it.
Everything that I have disputed has been returned to TikTok—don't get me started on them; they are just as bad as Venmo. How is it that TikTok can take your money, then accept the return, and then deny the refund? So, they keep your money and the items returned. That is the same as stealing!
And Venmo is right in there with them, saying: 'It's okay, we won't do anything about it; steal away!' Then, because I had to file disputes, they sent me a few messages like this. Really? Wow! (See attached!) Also, it shows in this email from TikTok that they have received the products and still are denying my refund!
I am a disabled American; by law, they cannot do this! But do you think Venmo will help? No!
They do not help at all. This is just a small amount of proof that I have.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered. The bank ended up being at fault and this was resolved. However it was still scary to not be able to reach anyone at Venmo for help.
Tried to transfer funds to the bank. It was a pretty big amount.
Waited 1, 2, 3, 4 days then tried to contact Venmo. Called as early as I could on a random weekday (i.e., not first day of the week, not the second they opened). Currently, I have been waiting over an hour, which is, come on, ridiculous. I'm going to have to find a way to escalate since clearly I can't sit around all day.
Do they even have anyone working there?
Will be shutting down after this. Zelle is better anyway.

Answered my question. Called Venmo directly.
I was told that Venmo does not work outside of the USA. The agent was helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. It took too much effort to get to a person.

I cannot reach a human at venmo today. The many phone tree bots I spoke with told me that the the only way to file a dispute is through the venmo app. The app does not work however.

This menu is not coming up.
I get a choice between talking with the bot again or using email. But email requests are not provided. The email link sends me back to the bot.
The chatbot repeats over and over again to use the app. Please fix.

Problem with transfer I need to talk to someone fix my account
Can't transfer money from Venmo to my bank account. When I click transfer to my bank, it is not my account numbers; need to fix it.

I can't get through to speak with a human; all machines. I am trying to find out why I haven't received money from a settlement. It says it's there, but it is not the amount: 30.18.

I sent money to a friend. I sent it to her older account, unbeknownst to me, that she said she did not have access to any more.
So I sent MORE money to the current account. I would like my money back please.

I called numerous times and was supposed to get a return call about verifying my identity
My daughter deposited the money into an old Venmo account that I cannot access anymore, and I cant finish setting this one up for some reason dont think you will be able to speak with a human to verify Id. Im very disappointed with Venmo because they NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS!!

Just keep saying they have no control over issues regarding declines when there plenty of funds available to transfer. To me that is unacceptable. They are the card issuer they should always have access to that information.
I have been a customer for years, and still, there are certain bills I'm unable to pay through Venmo, so I often transfer money between my Venmo and Cash App accounts with no issues. All of a sudden, Venmo keeps declining transfers, and I've spent days trying to get someone to respond, only to have people tell me they can't answer why because there are no blocks on my account, yet I can't pay bills.
All they keep saying is take money out at the ATM and pay bills. This whole company is turning into a scam...

I spent hours trying to log on to my Venmo account. I know the correct email address.
I know the correct password, and when they send me that I need to receive a code, I receive the code and enter it, and then it always says something went wrong, try again. I've done it numerous times, and I cannot get anywhere. When I try to contact them, there is no way possible to actually contact them.
I emailed, and it says this email is not monitored. When I call, it is always a bunch of choices but no opportunity to get an explanation, and of course, their chat is in the beta stage and is worthless.

Your issue is with TikTok. They obviously provided proof that your return did not qualify for a refund. Just because YOU sent them the product doesn’t mean you automatically qualify for one.
